A Podcast episode All about Health
What happens when you’re doing “all the things,” but your body still doesn’t feel right?
In this episode of Diana Shinde's podcast, Anything Could Happen, Diana and I sit down for an honest conversation about women’s health, chronic illness, hormones, nutrition, exercise, mindset, and learning to listen to your body.
I share my own journey from unexplained exhaustion, inflammation, irregular periods, and fertility concerns to finally receiving a PCOS diagnosis and, years later, discovering she also had endometriosis.
We talk about what happened when I followed the conventional advice to “lose weight and exercise more,” why high-intensity exercise actually made me feel worse, and how yoga, nourishment, rest, experimentation, and mindset helped me to build a healthier relationship with my body.
Most importantly, I offer a powerful alternative to the all-or-nothing approach to health.
We explore what it means to:
Work with your body rather than against it
Give yourself grace during difficult days
Advocate for yourself in healthcare
Open yourself to one wonderfully simple idea:
“Let’s try it and see what happens.”
